HOW IS GARAGE FLOORING INSTALLED?

Floor preparation is the key to every Brisbane South garage floor success. If your concrete is not cleaned and prepared properly, your new epoxy floor is destined to peel off in a couple of years.

At Crafted Crete Floors, we start every garage flooring job by grinding the concrete slab top layer to remove all dirt, grime, DIY glue, floor paint, oil, and stains.

Once your concrete is clean and the pores are open, we move on to repairing the floor. We fill and sand any cracks, hairlines, and holes.

We then move on to applying a primer on the floor. Once the primer is fully cured, we apply the basecoat and broadcast the vinyl flakes.

When the base coat is fully cured we scrape off the excess flakes and apply 2 UV stable topcoats. The topcoats seals the gaps between the flakes and creates a slightly textured surface.
